A total of 44,632 people in Riyadh Region have taken part in first aid training and awareness since the start of 2026, through 2,754 programmes run by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority's Training and Community Awareness Department at 16 centres.
The authority said the programmes aim to spread awareness of first aid and a culture of emergency response, giving people basic skills that help them act quickly in emergencies and improve the chances of saving lives.
It is continuing to widen its training and awareness work and build partnerships across society to create a better informed community ready to respond to emergencies.
